Research conducted on the super-wealthy people used a model to determine their net worth. It took into account their assets, estimated net worth, taxes, saving rates, and investment performances.
According to the findings of the study, these are the top 10 richest Americans right now.
10. Sergey Brin: Net Worth $43.9 billion USD
Sergey Brin is a self-made billionaire. He and co-founder, Larry Page restructured the search engine, Google which put it under a new holding company known as, Alphabet. Brin will run this company as its president, and Page will be the CEO. Google has other ventures such as Google X and Nest both operate separately under the Alphabet umbrella.
Restructuring Google has made it possible for Brin to explore other projects. Two ideas in the works are the self-driving cars and the Smart homes.
